Pop by these Singapore-based creator’s booths at Pop Toy Show, happening now until Sunday, 24th August, at Marina Bay Sands!
Pop Toy Show is back this year, and the presence of locally-based talents only continues to grow! Pretty much everything we’ve had the opportunity to check out was worth the trip down, but here’re some of our favourite SG creations.
Singapore Art Toys Community (AE13)
First off are our friends and repeat collaborators Merthewiz, Luna, and Rhinomee! These three have been a constant on the scene these years, and even brought that vinyl edge to our island of booths at Singapore Comic Con last year!
This year, they’ve joined forces with Sapien Studio, PPD Adventure, and Neufcats (who’re also with Studio Toki), to intensify the Singaporean flavour at Pop Toy Show.
Saving Lives the Coolest Way Possible
Singapore Red Cross, the Singapore Civil Defence Force have joined forces to bring toys, imagination, and a necessary social cause together.
With an impressive presence across the exhibition floor, their multiple collaborations are something visitors should be on the look out for. With blind boxes, a collaboration with Peanuts, and a truly badass line of one-off statues, this one’s easily the most impressive part of the event.
But the real showstopper would have to be Wings of Art, a one-of-a-kind SG60 Winged-Barbie doll with a workshop buffet of sustainable materials. Located near the entrance of the event, Wing of Art is a station for both participation and admiration.
A lot of these are probably in tandem with Pop Toy Show’s pledge to donate S$50,000 to Red Cross’ Young Hearts Programme–resulting in a very cool effort over all.
Kevin Panda Cock Blocks the Artist Alley…
In a totally good way, of course.
Kevin’s constantly imaginative visuals have taken 3D form and we should be very afraid! Or we can embrace it and allow the giant cock to swallow us whole.
Yeah, there’s really no way to make this all sound not-dirty… so, just go hit him up at booth AE68.
(Kevin’s also at Table Con Quest this weekend… something about time travel or cloning, we’re not too sure.)
The Award for Most Badass Art goes to…
We’re still not entirely sure what Seadrake (AE37) is about, but they certainly stood out even beyond all the queues we’ve been hearing about at Pop Toy Show.
Nevertheless, if you’re looking for sick art, drop by their booth!
Get Stylish and Cunning with ImpFoxter
Fusing western and easter cultures and spirits, ImpFoxter (AE45) was the most stylish entrant at this year’s Pop Toy Show floor.
ImpFoxter debuts two new designs at Pop Toy Show!
Pop Toy Show 2025 runs from August 22 to 24. Limited tickets for PTS Singapore 2025 are available on Trip.com, with options for every fan!
